Sharni Vinson
born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson was raised in Sydney's southern suburb of Cronulla. When she was a teenager she participated at a National Level in swimming, having four State records in the high school. Sharni started singing, dancing and acting in her early years as young children, becoming the third generation of her family to perform. She was raised by performers from the musical theatre as her grandmother was the recipient of a Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. Sharni started her training in dance through the Brent Street School of Performing Arts, Sydney. She took 10 years of training in all aspects of dance. Sharni had just graduated from high school at 17 years old, was signed by Roadshow Music Australia to be a member of "Foxfire IV", an all-girl pop group. The first song they released, "Roses", reached number 50 in Australia's ARIA chart.
